testing prep

The Math Department offers SAT Prep non-credit courses to juniors during their lunch periods during the Spring. The course is meant to provide further opportunity for our students to sharpen their math skills and to perform better on the SATs. (During the Fall of 2010, approximately 50 students availed themselves to this course.)

This course meets twice a week and is offered 4th, 5th, and 6th lunch periods, during which the students will eat their lunch while learning strategies and practicing SAT math problems. Each class is limited to 15 students. Students are registered on a first come, first serve basis.

For more information and to register for the Spring Semester of 2011, please contact Sister Teresa Lukaszewski at 215.268.1064 as soon as possible. There is no cost for this class; students will be able to purchase the book needed for the course directly from Sr. Teri.

The Math Department also recommends Dr. Pace's SAT Prep classes which will be held at NAHS in February 2011. Information regarding this workshop can be found at Dr. Pace's website www.drpaceseminars.com.
